Amber Stautzenberger Submits Summer Artherton At Dakota FC 14!!!

Amber “The Apex Predator” Stautzenberger picked up her first
pro victory in quick and impressive fashion tonight at Dakota Fighting
Championships 14: “American Dream” in Fargo, North Dakota. The
Texas-based strawweight fighter submitted Summer Artherton with
an armbar in just 67 seconds.
Stautzenberger wasted no time in taking her opponent down to the
ground. She passed straight to mount and transitioned to the
fight-ending armbar. The swift win gets Stautzenberger back on track
after she dropped a close decision to “12 Gauge” Paige VanZant in
her September professional debut.
Stautzenberger (1-1-0) closed the distance right away and landed a nice kick-punch combination before clinching and taking Artherton (0-2-0) down to the mat. Within seconds, Stautzenberger moved from half-guard to mount and briefly struck from the top until Artherton rolled to try to escape. Stautzenberger took advantage by latching onto Artherton’s arm and pulled back on an armbar. Artherton again tried to roll free, but she could not and was forced to submit.
Tonight’s win was Stautzenberger’s first as a professional and first at 115 pounds. She amassed a 4-3 record as an amateur against formidable opposition in bouts that were primarily contested at weights above 120 pounds.
Winner: Amber Stautzenberger by Submission (Armbar) at 1:07 of round one. She improves to 1-1-0.

Coach Johnny Lozano took a small team of 4 boxers to the
2013 Fort Worth Golden Gloves in Fort Worth, TX. We had
2 boxers make it to the finals, 1 boxer to the semi-finals, and
1 boxer to the quarter-finals.
- Cameron Miller - 1st Place (Golden Gloves Champion)
- Izzy Quinones - 2nd Place (Runner up)
- JC Thomas - Made it to the semi-finals
- Marcus Villarreal - Quarter-finals
There were a total of 27 boxing gyms that came to the Fort Worth Golden Gloves. Team Mohler won the 1st place team trophy for the most wins!!! More pics coming soon!!!

Amber “The Apex Predator” Stautzenberger kept her winning streak alive with a close
decision victory tonight at Dakota Fighting Championships 15: “Spring Brawl” in
Fargo, North Dakota. The strawweight prospect edged out Glena “Heartless” Avila, who
stepped into the fight on short notice.
Both women threatened with numerous submission attempts throughout the
back-and-forth bout. Avila came on strong at the end of rounds one and two, but her
late rallies were not quite enough to sway the cageside judges and Stautzenberger’s
dominant final round solidified her win on the scorecards.

Jinh Yu is the SCS 105lb women's Champion!!!

Yu (1-0-0) kicked off her pro career in a big way by capturing the SCS 105-pound
women’s title in her first professional fight. Yu forced the veteran Wright (1-5-0) to
submit to a first-round rear-naked choke that earned her the vacant championship.
Prior to turning pro, Yu put together a 3-2 run as an amateur, and only one of her
conquered opponents to date has made it out of the first round.

Legacy Fighting Championship's (LFC) nineteenth mixed martial arts
(MMA) event is in the book as last night (April 12, 2013) the
organization traveled to Dallas, Texas, for LFC 19:
"Campuzano vs. Nascimento," at the Allen Event Center.
The event headliner saw Will Campuzano successfully defend his
flyweight title against Allan Nascimento after a competitive 25-minute
battle that the judges awarded to Campuzano.
Will Campuzano def. Allan Nascimento via unanimous decision (49-45, 48-46, 48-46)
