For all of the high profile fights that took place at the Ultimate Texas Showdown 4, the most anticipated match of the night would be between welterweight fighters Marcus Hicks and Hector Munoz. Fans were anxious to see Marcus Hicks battle Hector Munoz for the welterweight title belt
Marcus Hicks proved once again why he is the very best welterweight fighter in Texas by defeating a tough Hector Munoz in the 1st Round. Hector Munoz could not continue in the second round because of an ankle injury.
Congratulations go out to both Marcus Hicks and Hector Munoz for their outstanding performances.

Ed Ratcliff vs. Marcus Hicks Round 1
Hicks cracked Ratcliff with a left hand that buckled his knees and sent him to the canvas. When Ratcliff stood, Hicks slapped on a deep standing guillotine, but Ratcliff escaped danger. Hicks blasted away with two left haymakers. Another guillotine followed, which forced Ratcliff to tapout at 1:42 of the first round.
Marcus... also wins submission of the night from UFCs Dana White!!!
